The Short Version
Two matters anchor this page: the rules governing use of the website, and what taking us on as your mover entails. Anything that genuinely defines a move, the price, the schedule, the safeguarding of your belongings, is settled nowhere here. The whole of that lives in the estimate you sign and in the moving agreement itself. Treat it seriously, and put any uncertainty to the office well ahead of reserving a slot.
Agreeing to These Terms
Opening this website, or engaging us to move or store what is yours, signals acceptance that the working relationship proceeds under this body of Terms. Every reference to “Browning Storage,” “we,” “us,” or “our” denotes Browning Storage, headquartered in Kerrville, Texas, and serving Kerrville along with the surrounding Kerr County and Hill Country. Should any portion of what follows not sit well with you, the appropriate move is simply to leave the site.
The Work We Do
Be the trip a few blocks or a string of states, your belongings travel in gear we own, handled only by screened movers in uniform whom we keep on payroll and pay ourselves, the whole job run from our office with Wade or Rhonda attached to it. Established in 2008 by Wade and Rhonda Browning, the company runs on its very own TxDMV, DOT, and MC registrations, fully licensed in Texas, bonded, and insured, with cooled storage of its own in Kerrville. At no point along the way does an outside firm assume the work. Whatever truly binds a particular job, the coverage, the price, the conditions, lands in the estimate you sign and the contract you receive ahead of move day, not on a page like this.
Quotes and Locked Estimates
Estimates carry no charge. Pricing draws on your inventory and the particulars at each end, generally confirmed by an in-person visit or photos you supply, and the entire job settles on one flat figure. After you sign, that figure is your obligation; it shifts only when you bring on more items or extra work, or when an address turns out far removed from the description. Each estimate bears an expiration date.
Locking a Day, Deposits, and Backing Out
Holding a particular date may call for a modest deposit, returnable, credited against what you owe. Your moving contract spells out precisely how that deposit returns and how reschedules or cancellations get handled. Plans shift; the sooner you tell us, the simpler rearranging becomes.
Payment
When payment is owed, typically upon completion of the move, is determined by your contract. At booking is where we will spell out exactly which payment methods we take. Outstanding balances may head to collections, the associated costs added on.
Liability and Claims
Ahead of any move each item is padded and recorded on a manifest, the whole load standing behind a written no-damage promise; if something is harmed, mending, replacing, or paying out falls to us as your contract describes. Cargo coverage extends to $1M, released value rests at $0.60 a pound by default, and full-value protection runs 1 to 3 percent of declared value where you elect it. File a claim with the office inside the period your contract sets, as long as nine months, to the extent the law allows. What we owe tracks your contract, the protection level you chose, and the coverage active at the time.
What Rests on You
A handful of duties land on your side: depict the job truthfully, flag anything fragile or valuable, see that each address can be worked safely and legally, a usable way in, somewhere lawful to park, and pin down whatever HOA approvals, entry-gate clearances, or certificates of insurance the location demands. Flammables, perishables, and other hazardous goods sit outside what we will haul, and whatever you tape shut on your own keeps its contents on you.
Using This Website
Keep whatever you do on this site within the law. Do not disrupt how it runs or go poking around in areas meant to stay closed. Everything posted here belongs to Browning Storage, so reproducing or repurposing any of it requires our consent first.
Limits and Governing Law
This website reaches you strictly “as is,” carrying no warranty of any kind regarding its contents. The laws of Texas control this agreement, and unless a statute directs another venue, any dispute is heard in the courts of Kerr County, Texas.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms as circumstances demand, and each change takes hold once it appears on this page.
